Thank you Saal Digital!
Recently I was lucky enough to be given the chance to have some of my artwork printed by the company Saal Digital. I chose their Professional Line XT Photo book and created it using their own design software. The finished product arrived today and I'm thrilled with it. The customised acrylic glass cover with leatherette looks fantastic and makes the colours pop so beautifully. I honestly don't believe the photos do it justice as the quality of the print is stunning. For artwork I'd definitely advise going for the high end print matte paper, each page is as thick as card and has just the right amount of sheen to it. I chose a mixture of artwork, styles and colours in order to gain a good idea of how each image would look when printed. The software itself gives you a great amount of freedom in the layout of each page, it's also very easy to use. You have the option to upload your images and control every aspect of the layout or to let the software do it for you. I decided to create double page spreads for each piece of art work and this was really effective. The book I chose would normally cost around £100 depending on the number of pages, cover choice and paper selection. I will definitely be using this website and software again for prints, I'm so pleased with the quality of the detail, particularly in the mixed media pieces.
Thank you Saal Digital!
